Toni King is the Public Relations Director of the C4 Mentoring Program. Her responsibilities include overseeing fundraising efforts, media requests, sponsorship initiatives, and social media presence. She was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, where she discovered her passion for community awareness at an early age. Growing up in the “Magic City” has taught Toni the value of serving others. The rich history of the Civil Rights movement has taught many people how to lead through adversity, and Toni is no exception.

 

Toni has a profound love and appreciation for Birmingham, Alabama. She continually builds relationships within the community by meeting with leaders and citizens to develop a plan to improve issues concerning the youth. She also volunteers regularly at Birmingham City Schools to assist in reading initiatives for third-graders, ensuring they are not left behind. It is crucial to be present and available to our youth, as our future depends on how well we prepare our children today.
